Platinum Radiant Cut 3-Stone Diamond Ring w/ Trapezoid Sidestones (GIA Certified 5.46 ct center, 7.69 cttw, G Color, VS2 Clarity), Size 6
Price: $220,000 You save 35% ($118800)

This magnificent ring centers a 5.46 carat radiant-cut diamond and four trapezoid diamond sidestones on a 950 platinum band. These are beautiful GIA certified diamonds, with a minimum VS2 clarity and a total combined weight of 7.69 carats. With a color grading of G, they are in the uppermost range of near-colorless and appear dazzling white in the setting. The diamonds are mounted in secure four-prong basket settings that allow plenty of light to filter through their facets, enhancing their sparkle and fire.
The square radiant cut exhibited by the center diamond is quite dramatic. It combines the step-cutting and trimmed corners of an emerald-cut diamond with some of the triangular faceting of the brilliant cut for an impressive sparkle.
The setting and band are made from gleaming 950 platinum, the most rare of all precious metals, and the ideal choice for showcasing diamonds because of its superior strength and durability. Unlike other jewelry metals, platinum will not chip easily or wear down over time, and it never needs replating. Its gorgeous white sheen is rich and luxurious and can be easily maintained with just an occasional cleaning and polish. Platinum has a substantial feel and is slightly heavier than gold. It’s also hypoallergenic, and therefore perfectly suited to those with metal sensitivities.
This bold and beautiful ring makes an extraordinary gift. It comes packaged in a luxury finished-wood box and includes a GIA certificate.

When my girlfriend subtly added this to her wishlist, I have to admit I had my doubts. Not about the marriage — no, I love this woman and WILL make her my wife now that I know she wants me “that way”. No, I had doubts about buying a ring online. I don’t know a lot about diamonds, but it looked a little more “blingy” than the pieces at Sears, which I had been regularly browsing on my breaks since meeting her at Hot Topic. Sure I buy car repair manuals, action figures, knives, and prescription drugs on-line — but never something as precious as jewelry for the finger of my soul-mate. What if it didn’t fit? Would I send her finger to Jeff Bezos? He wouldn’t want that….
Without a credit card of my own, I knew I would have to do things differently and “think outside this box” if I wanted to win her heart and give her the ring of her dreams. Was I sure, really sure, I wanted to do what was necessary to secure $338,800.00 in cash to send to Jeff Bezos in exchange for this ring?
Friends, my doubts were eliminated completely when I saw that the ring of the dreams of the girl of MY dreams was so dramatically discounted thanks to Amazon’s low-low prices! I knew Amazon offered the best prices in town on authentic reproduction movie-set quality knives from films such as Predator II and TV’s Heroes, but when I saw that this ring was normally $338,800.00 and that it was bargain basemented to the rediculously low-low price of $118,800.00 I knew immediately that this was roughly 40%. Plus free shipping!? Watch your mail Jeff Bezos, what a bargain!

When my fiance told me to choose whatever ring I wanted, I just knew I had to have this little beauty! What a stunner! I always knew I would marry for love and…money…exorbitant amounts of money! What better way to get my friends to stand up and take notice, than with this gorgeous piece? One of those prissy sh**s had the nerve to point out that I could buy something like ten hybrids for this price! Well, that’s the point silly! And I want everybody to know it when I strut by on Madison Avenue! I’ll keep my pearl white Escalade and chic Hummer 2 limo thank you very much! After all, I can afford to help fund foreign oil and support diamond mine atrocities at the same time! Now ladies, that’s what I call multitasking!

A rock from an insecure man either overweight, old, bald, aged, new money, not properly educated, but probably doing wrong to make enough money to get the heart of a pretty girl. Bad news. This is not the way to love. You can never buy love. Of course who doesn’t like a diamond?! I have one of my own. But to boast on Amazon that you can buy it, shows how insecure you are. You have to tell the whole world about it. I can see you losing this woman in a few months or years. And when this happens, you will see how you were wrong. Sad that most people can only learn the hard way. Bling Bling for you Rap Gangster, AIG partner or Wall Street big wig, Trump Wannabe, average guy with money trying to be a big time loser. “I’m on my way, I’m making it
I’ve got to make it show, yeah
35% off regular price AND free super-saver shipping makes this a must buy!, May 30, 2009

This ring is pretty good. It sparkles a lot especially when there is light on it. It doesn’t weigh too much, like most other cheaper rings, so you don’t get tired as fast when you’re wearing it. It is nice to have the GIA certificate–they are a pretty important organization. Also, the ring is made of diamonds and titanium so it should be okay to wear in the shower and most kinds of inclement weather. The trapezoidal, radiant cut gives the ring extra tensile strength in case it gets sat on or something. Anyways, it looks nice on my toe. Ever since I had my hands cut off, my feet and junk are the only place I can wear rings. Luckily my next-to-the-big-toe toe is a size six so this ring fits pretty good. I probably would have gotten this ring even if I had to pay for shipping. PS–If you decide to get this, don’t throw away the luxury finished-wood box. It makes an excellent potpourri dish and/or ashtray after you’ve taken the ring out. |
